More Than Class Time

The School Is Also the People.

We come together to train, but the relationships built through shared effort can extend well beyond the training floor. Around the Mountain is where we can celebrate those connections, welcome new faces, and share the experiences that become part of our school's story.

Strength in our practice. Character in our conduct. Community in what we build together.

On this Memorial Day, we bow in solemn respect. At Black Mountain Spirit, we carry a lineage steeped in the military traditions of ancient Chinese martial arts—a path walked by warriors who upheld honor, sacrifice, and service. As a martial arts school rooted in warrior tradition, we know that the highest purpose of strength is to protect others. Those who made the ultimate sacrifice lived that truth. Today, we stand in silent tribute to those in our own nation who made the ultimate sacrifice—those who, in defense of others, gave their lives in service.Their courage echoes in the movements we practice.Their discipline lives in the spirit we cultivate.Their legacy is not forgotten. We offer our deepest gratitude to the fallen, to their families, and to all who continue to serve. We’re grateful. We remember. And we train in their honor.May our practice be worthy of the path they forged. With respect,The students and instructors of The Black Mountain Spirit Family#MemorialDay #RespectAndHonor #TrainWithPurpose #HonorTheFallen #WarriorTradition #MartialArtsWithMeaning ...
